I had a fun treat this past weekend! I was a guest at two friend's wedding. It was fun seeing two amazing people whom I knew separately unit to become one. I met Cory in our first year of elementary school and I met Jaydeen in High School.
The ceremony and reception took place at the See Canyon Fruit Ranch in San Luis Obispo, CA. I would say it was a true Central Coast wedding. There was Santa Maria Style BBQ for dinner, (for those of you who have never had SM Style BBQ you are truly missing out) the weather was perfect (warm with a slight breeze), and the entire venue was covered with lush green.
The bridesmaids wore royal purple dresses and strappy saddles, the groomsmen were decked out in classic black tuxes with matching royal purple ties and gerber daisies were found throughout the ceremony and reception. Jaydeen and Cory decided to have cream puff for dessert. It was a nice change of pace from the normal wedding cake.
The wedding came together beautifully. It was filled with love and laughter. I was so grateful to spend part of the weekend in the place I grew up with people I grew up with.
Congrats to Cory and Jaydeen! I hope they have a very long and happy marriage.
